How to Get White Socks White With Bleach
If you lot've got a dirty white socks trouble, never fear. We'll bear witness you how to launder and make clean white socks with bleach to make your white socks white again.
Question
I can't seem to proceed my son's socks clean. I apply Clorox bleach, but it still doesn't get them make clean. Whatever ideas what else I can practice?
Answer
Socks can exist quite a problem (my son'south socks are pretty challenging, too), and I practise take some suggestions for you to effort.
- Be certain you are washing in hot water and using ¾ of a loving cup of Clorox® Regular Bleach2 in each load.
- Pre-soak the socks for v minutes in a solution of ¼ cup Clorox® Regular Bleach2 diluted in ane gallon cool water. And so wash in hot water with detergent and ¾ cup Clorox® Regular Bleachii.
- Pre-treat the socks using Clorox® Ultimate Care Bleach: This product is a thickened bleach production with a lower hypochlorite active level so it is safe to apply directly to bleachable material (something y'all should NEVER practise with undiluted bleach!) It works exceptionally well on socks. I like to work with it in a dish pan—I lay the socks out, utilise a pocket-sized amount to saturate the stains, and then I transfer the treated items right into the washer from the dish pan. Then wash immediately in hot h2o and detergent and ¾ loving cup Clorox® Regular Bleachtwo.
I like using the dish pan considering I don't accidentally exit whatever spilled product around, and I can only stack the socks on top of each other as I treat them. Be sure to rinse out the dish pan when y'all are finished. Hopefully this will practice the trick!
